Ingredients

  • Yukon Gold or red-skinned potatoes
  • Heavy cream
  • Unsalted butter

  • Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic Base
  • Grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle some grated parmesan cheese at the bottom.
  3. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream, butter, herbs, salt, pepper, and garlic base until combined. Stir in most of the parmesan.
  4. Thinly slice the potatoes using a mandoline and layer them in the prepared dish.
  5. Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes, cover with foil, and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes until golden brown; broil for 4 minutes for extra crispiness if desired.
