  • 1 cup strong coffee
  • ¼ cup milk (or milk alternative)
  • ¼ cup heavy cream (or coconut cream for a vegan option)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, molasses, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Heat until boiling while stirring to dissolve sugar completely. Let cool.
  2. Whisk together 1 tablespoon of gingerbread syrup with heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Simmer milk on the stovetop or microwave it for frothing.
  4. Mix coffee with 2 tablespoons of gingerbread syrup, pour in frothed milk, and top with whipped cream and additional syrup.
