  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF and prepare a donut pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and milk until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just mixed; avoid overmixing.
  5. Pipe the batter into the donut cavities evenly.
  6. Bake for 15-16 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean; let cool for about 10 minutes.
  7. For the coating, melt butter in a bowl and mix granulated sugar with cinnamon in another bowl.
  8. Brush each cooled donut with melted butter and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
