  • all-purpose flour
  • granulated sugar
  • baking powder
  • baking soda
  • salt
  • ground cinnamon
  • unsweetened applesauce
  • vegetable oil
  • vanilla extract
  • almond milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix applesauce, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and almond milk until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients gently until just mixed.
  5. In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
  6. Pour half the batter into a greased loaf pan; sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it. Add remaining batter and top with the rest of the swirl mixture.
  7. Use a knife to create swirls in the batter.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before slicing.
