  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 200g mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 150g fresh spinach
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 100g cheese (mozzarella or cheddar), grated
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté onions and garlic in a skillet over medium heat until translucent.
  3. Add mushrooms and cook until softened. Stir in spinach until wilted; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Mix in grated cheese and cream cheese until well combined.
  5. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares.
  6. Place about a teaspoon of filling in the center of each square, fold, and seal edges.
  7. Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake on a parchment-lined sheet for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
