  • ¼ cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (188 g)
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • pinch of clove
  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until browned; let cool slightly.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and spices in a bowl.
  4. In another bowl, combine browned butter with sugars, egg white, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
