  • 1 lb crab meat (or imitation crab)
  • 1 cup fish fillets (e.g., cod or haddock), cut into chunks
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups chicken or seafood broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package of Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, cook the shrimp, crab meat, and fish for about 3-4 minutes until shrimp turns pink; remove from heat.
  3. Add chicken or seafood broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper to the pot. Stir and simmer.
  4. Mix in frozen vegetables and cooked seafood; heat through for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Stir until the filling thickens slightly; remove from heat.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix with milk until just combined.
  7. Pour the seafood mixture into a baking dish and spoon biscuit mixture on top.
  8. Drizzle melted butter over biscuits and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
