Instructions

  2. Beat the cooled brown butter with both sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  3. Gradually incorporate baking powder, baking soda, salt, and flour until just combined.
  4. Fold in toffee bits gently.
  5. Chill dough balls for at least 2 hours.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place dough balls on a lined baking sheet, sprinkle with sea salt, and bake for 11-13 minutes.
